Here we go again...

Let me start off by saying sorry...it's been too long since my last blog entry! There have been a lot of things going on around here, good and sad, but today we are talking about the exciting stuff!! Here we go again is an appropriate title for what I am experiencing...baby #2! All kinds of things are going through my head and most of them are different than when I was preggers with Leena. How will Leena deal with the new baby? Should we get new furniture for the baby or use Leena's crib and get her a new bed? What happens when I can't carry Leena any more or cuddle her on the couch because of my big belly? As you may have noticed there is a reoccurring theme in all of these questions...LEENA!! I need help guys...am I beeing silly worring so much about Leena and not myself and the new baby? How did you guys do it?

Just like a Harley

So let me explain the title of my post for today. Some of you may know my Aunt Kaki...and she loves Harley motorcycles! Which got me thinking...she's a lot like one. They are the most popular and greatest bikes! They require lots of maintenance but you have years and years of enjoyment out of one! All of these things are just like her. She has been fighting cancer for over 2 years now and just when we think she is going to "break down" for good she keeps on rollin'!! I admire the woman she has always been, is now, and will continue to be in my heart:) No matter how much time we have left to spend with her she will always be a big part of our lives:)

Memorial Day Madness!!!

Our great friends...well they are basically family...Kirk and Astrid celebrated 7 years of marriage yesterday. Even though we knew regret was a possibility, we asked them to take Sunday night and go celebrate and we would keep the "Bard Boys." So needless to say it was absolutely crazy around the Schiavone house yesterday! At the end of the day after the boys had gone home Joe looked at me and said,"Don't even ask for three kids!" I definately got a taste of what it's like to have a house full and even though it's stressfull, there are times when you just can't help but to kiss them all! There are many times that Leena and EJ(2 and 1/2 years) like to fight...everything is,"NO! MINE!" but then Logan steps in (5 years) and smooths it over:) So after all was said and done I had a great day with all the kids!!

Where has the time gone??

So I was talking to my cuz Kelly yesterday and realized there are only 4 short weeks until my baby is 2!! I can't believe the time has gone so fast. The first year is great...but the second year is better, faster, prouder and even more exhausting! Her daughter is going to be 1 soon so she is feeling it too! Some of my friends have older kids than me and some younger...here's a poll; which year goes by the fastest? I can't imagine it going any faster and if so I need to stop and smell the roses...instead of dirty diapers!

Baseball anyone??

So Leena got her first baseball, bat and glove yesterday and of course it had to be girly...Disney Princess! So she practiced throwing and insisted Daddy wear the glove...hilarious! Well at 4 am she woke up and wanted to go downstairs. I reluctantly agreed so she didn't wake up Joe. We cuddled up on the couch and turned on the cartoons...which lasted for all of 5 min. Then she wanted to get her baseball and bat and play...it was 4:30 in the morning!! Where do they get the energy??? I think I will hide the new golf clubs for a later date...

My heart is as big as Texas...but misses Arizona

SO most of you know I am taking Leena to Arizona next week for a dose of Mimi and Grandpa and I always look forward to see all of my family and friends! I LOVE Texas...but I do miss Arizona at times. I wish all of my AZ peeps could just relocate, but then where would I go to vacation?:) Love you all and see ya soon!!
