Where has the time gone??

So I was talking to my cuz Kelly yesterday and realized there are only 4 short weeks until my baby is 2!! I can't believe the time has gone so fast. The first year is great...but the second year is better, faster, prouder and even more exhausting! Her daughter is going to be 1 soon so she is feeling it too! Some of my friends have older kids than me and some younger...here's a poll; which year goes by the fastest? I can't imagine it going any faster and if so I need to stop and smell the roses...instead of dirty diapers!

Baseball anyone??

So Leena got her first baseball, bat and glove yesterday and of course it had to be girly...Disney Princess! So she practiced throwing and insisted Daddy wear the glove...hilarious! Well at 4 am she woke up and wanted to go downstairs. I reluctantly agreed so she didn't wake up Joe. We cuddled up on the couch and turned on the cartoons...which lasted for all of 5 min. Then she wanted to get her baseball and bat and play...it was 4:30 in the morning!! Where do they get the energy??? I think I will hide the new golf clubs for a later date...

My heart is as big as Texas...but misses Arizona

SO most of you know I am taking Leena to Arizona next week for a dose of Mimi and Grandpa and I always look forward to see all of my family and friends! I LOVE Texas...but I do miss Arizona at times. I wish all of my AZ peeps could just relocate, but then where would I go to vacation?:) Love you all and see ya soon!!

Snaps for The Little Gym!

Today was Leena's first day of her class at The Little Gym...and it was a success!! Miss Stephanie, Leena's teacher, is wonderful with the kids and she loved her! The class included fun with hula hoops, basket balls and hoops, tumbling, upper body strengthening and ended with a massive load of bubbles!! Leena got stamps on her hands, after she "thoroughly" washed with hand sanitizer and cried her eyes out when we had to leave. We will be signing up for the fall semester with the "Little Beasts"...that's the name of her class and it is soooooo appropriate:)

On a mission for Jesus!!

So Joe, Leena and I have been trying to find a church we love to go to...and I can happily say we have found a church home!! For Easter, when my folks were here, we tried a new church. Our first impression was good...but how can you tell if that was real or a just a "Holiday" service. We tried it again the following week and wowie:) It's hard to find a church family, but this had everything we wanted! Leena loves her church friends and is always excited to go which is the greatest thing ever:) The church is small, only about 100 families, but lots of kids! We have 6 couples having babies in the next couple of months so lots of growth!! I am very happy and love , love, love my new family at Fellowsip of Frisco!!
